I plan to revisit the fight in an upcoming post, with more detail from a melee DPS perspective.Īlthough it’s near-impossible to look at Trade Chat on my server without seeing at least one rep farming group forming, the only Ashen Verdict rep I’ve gotten has been from actual runs, ie. With its short enrage timer and stand-still mechanics, from a melee perspective it’s similar to the Patchwerk fight and can serve as a good benchmark for actual DPS numbers. Festergut, like Deathbringer Saurfang, is an easy fight for melee DPS, requiring almost no movement. Our raid had been delayed for the better part of an hour, so after three attempts at Festergut - 86%, 48% and ~ 30% - we called it for the night, with plans to go back sometime during the weekend.
The raid was significant for a couple reasons, most especially because it was my guild’s first real progression night in many weeks, since we had cleared the first wing of Icecrown Citadel and it was our first foray into the upper reaches of Icecrown. Last night I picked up the Frost Giant’s Cleaver from the Gunship Battle in 10-man Icecrown.

As far as im aware icc means icecrown cathedral and lich king is a boss. 5? (they copied tier 2 the 2nd tied of vanilla) is the look alike since it was the 2nd tier of TBC. To me it sounds like "cause your all gearscore whores now, we have to add a new raid for you to do the storyline quests" O.o. The plan is to have a normal mode and a heroic mode just like Icecrown Citadel, so far there is no plan for a Sartharion +1/+2/+3-like encounter.This raid will not only provide a bit of additional content to pair with the current content of patch 3.3, it will be the beginning of an advancement in the storyline for Cataclysm.You can also expect to see some more trinkets and things of that nature.

Ruby sanctum is patch 3.3.5 before cata. form uldar had same item level as the next raid instance 25man (toc25). My commen sense is telling me that ruby sanctum 25man will be 284 item level. Which it was at 219 item level altho theres no math to predict this outcome like there is now. I don't know who aggree but am i right in assuming ruby sanctum 10man item level will be 270? There was no hardmode for naxx, however following the pattern naxx 213 item level on normal mode the next raid uldar 10man should have more item level than 25man naxx.
